I spent last week’s Spring Break in Dallas where my girlfriend Christina, pictured as the black girl here, lives.

Of course the best thing about visiting Christina is spending time with her adorable (if not a little slow) Lab…yes, he’s black too, Scout

Scout is so cute and so attached to me that when I sleep in in the morning he waits outside of the bedroom door wondering when I will emerge

Christina and I always take at least one night to get dressed up and head out to a nice dinner

Dinner was excellent, she had the bone-in filet, I had the veal chop and we had some amazing mushrooms as a side dish

And what evening at a 5-star,high end restaurant would be complete without a rambunctious 5-year-old child running around whole his grandparents ignore him…ah, America

On Thursday night, Christina’s apartment complex was nice enough to treat us to a building-wide fire alarm at 1AM that woke pretty much everyone up. It was lovely. On Friday morning at 7am, when we were at breakfast, this is what I looked like

I have been officially banned by Christina from buying Scout toys because I buy him squeaky ones since I don ‘t actually live with him. This snake has 5 squeakers throughout it’s body and Scout knows where everyone of them is

No matter where he went, even when he slept, the snake never left his side
