If you aren't able to come out and golf here's something you can do hopefully! They are constantly in need of luggage for the foster children. All these kids usually have are garbage bags to put all their clothes in. Can you imagine you already don't have a permanent home you're leaving an extremely abusive home and all you have is a garbage bag to put your stuff in. It's crazy how a piece of luggage will make these kids feel a little better about their situation, but it does it gives them some kind of dignity and worthiness. Who wants to live out of a garbage bag I know I don't I'm sure you don't either!

So now of course you're wondering well Dawn where do I drop the luggage off at? You can drop the luggage off at Koinonia Family Services located at 3733 Taylor Road Loomis, Monday thru Friday from 8:30a-4p.

Thank you SO much for your support!!

Koinonia Family Services Needs You!!

Oh my gosh, Koinonia is SO amazing! They have been making a difference in the Foster/Adoption community since 1982!! If you have been interested in becoming a Foster Parent, Koinonia is the place to go, they truly get behind their Foster Families and are with you every step of the way.

They have a HUGE need for people who are willing to be a Foster Parent specifically to Teenagers. At the moment there aren’t enough Foster families for teenagers therefore teenagers are staying in homes for no longer than 30 days, sometimes less. As you can imagine going from home to home every month after they have already endured so much in their life is not the best thing for them. A safe loving home with stability and consistency is what these teenagers need to become thriving adults.

If you feel the calling in your heart, just aren’t sure and or have been thinking about it you can attend one of their Orientations that are held every month.

For more information you can go to   http://www.kfh.org/ and or call them at 916-652-5814.

Thank you and have a blessed day!!
