Each year over Christmas while in Arizona we go to a Hockey game in Phoenix, love their Sports Complex, full of restaurants, bars, hotels and shops all right there in the same complex as the Hockey Arena, how easy is that to go drinking and get some grub before the game, no driving all around, no walking for blocks to get to the sports complex after you eat, nope it’s all right there, now that’s a good planned sports complex!!

Before we got some grub we saw that Facebook was doing this virtual reality thingy, I thought it would be lame but actually it was pretty freaking cool! I really felt like I was everywhere I was seeing thru those glasses or goggles! It was kinda amazing..

Also tradition before the hockey game we enjoy some wings and beer..it’s my hubby and I, sister in law, Pops and our niece and nephew, who aren’t pictured!!

We also made Chocolate Chip cookies that morning as well, the kiddos really wanted them!!
While we were opening gifts, we had a Christmas movie on..Die Hard!! Yes there are a few Seahawk’s fans in the family, they got these Meet Dick he is a Niner fan shirts and don’t be a Dick by being a niner fan shirts I think, and something about hating the Niner’s shirts…my husband and Pops are die hard Niner fans so they find this hilarious..sarcasm!

We started our Christmas vacation in Arizona with our family that lives there, my sister in law and I made breakfast before one of my nephews soccer games, this was an egg hash brown basket with a side of bacon and homemade waffles..yummo!!

It was a beautiful but super cold Lake Havasu morning!! But we bundled up and watched my nephews team lose that day…he wasn’t very happy about it but took the loss with class, clearly he didn’t learn that from his Aunt Dawn!! thank God he doesn’t have my bad sportsmanship attitude!!

After the game our nephew hung out with his Uncle Gary and one of their dogs, bobo… watching sports, playing with his rubik’s cube and playing computer games!

We all went out to lunch and our niece Kendra who just got her driver’s license wanted Gary and I to drive with her in her car!!! She actually didn’t scare us that much!!
