Brandon's Spring Break 2018
Mr & Mrs Brandon Vacation In Oahu - Round 2

Every single day of our vacation found us laying on the beach. When we weren't on the beach we were in the water.

Here is a macro shot of a seashell, with tiny seashells inside of it... Seashell-ception!

This island was absolutely hideous. I don't recommend going. At all.

The island life looks good on us.

Here I am pointing at one of the elephants in the zoo which was only blocks from our hotel room.

The wildlife was abundant in Oahu so we decided to go look at the animals in captivity at the aquarium.

Mrs Brandon looks stunning in this light, where I look like I'm afraid of becoming fish food.

That's a giant clam. No seriously, this clam was HUUUUUGE!

Here's our "that's the biggest clam we've ever seen" faces.

This is one of the oldest species on Earth, a nautilus!

I believe this is what the other end of a clogged pipe looks like. Or a massive sea urchin. You decide.

Can you spot the octopus? No really, it's there. It has just blended into the rocks.

These alien like creatures are the coolest. Jelly Fish are mesmerizing.

I don't know why we took so many selfies in a dark aquarium.

This fish was a little horny... c'mon dude, this is a family establishment.

When I'm feeling down, I like to revisit this photo of our view from the hotel room. It was my happy place.

Every afternoon we walked the strip on Waikiki beach. The tree behind us was filled with birds... A LOT of birds... and they were loud.

This guy welcomed us to the beach every day.

On our last day of the trip we decided to visit Pearl Harbor. We didn't have enough time to do the full tour of the USS Arizona, but it was humbling to be there and pay our respects.

To close out this round, here are some photos I snapped with my camera of the scenery.

Finally, while driving we found a lot of people living on the side of the road and in one camp we found a Christmas tree... A Christmas Tree! At the end of March!

My beautiful wife and I stopped at a park before we had to take our rental car back and check in for our flight home.

Here I am, sadly pointing at a plane taking off from Honolulu... where we will soon be taking off from... back to reality.
Mr & Mrs Brandon Vacation In Oahu - Round 1

At the airport, ready to leave... we barely made it for our first flight. We had to run to our first gate like a scene from Home Alone. Damn TSA lines and Spring Break don't mix.

Promptly after landing we got our hands on some fresh ahi poke and kalua pork! YUMMM!

First order of business was to hike Diamond Head! Not the best thing to do fresh off the plane, but we had time to kill before our hotel check in.

Mrs Brandon was more excited about the hike down Diamond Head... I was excited about getting more head.

The view right outside of our room was breathtaking. Overlooking Waikiki beach.

This was what it looked like every single day we were there. Beautiful.

Shameless selfie.

When in Oahu, we stopped by the Dole Plantation for some sweet treats. We just went for the goodies and didn't do any of the tourist trap stuff like the tour of the plantation.

Dole Whip For The Win!

We saw more wildlife on Oahu than we have seen in our travels to Hawaii. This little guy was one of many creatures we saw on our trip.

Every day we were on the island we visited a new beach (sometimes twice) just to get in the water and snorkel. This was at Hanauma Bay. Famous for its wildlife and serene waters. Get there early because it gets busy!

Hanauma Bay is perfect for spotting whales as they prefer the calm warm waters. I was not lucky enough to see one though.

Two please...

There were cats EVERYWHERE!

On our way back from the beach to our hotel, we stopped by Leondard's Bakery food truck for some fresh malasadas. YUM!

Another terrible view from our room.

We went to the Polynesian Visitors Center one day for some food and I came upon this "Kings Dog" - It's a hot dog with onion rings, bbq sauce, spicy sauce, onion, and it was fucking delicious.

Action shot.

Another great food spot was Ono Seafood!

Spicy Ahi Tuna was consumed at least once a day.

Beautiful Mrs Brandon living Aloha!

Aloha From The Brandons!

A homeless man, of which there were many, stopped us to pose for some photos with his bird. A donation was requested for "bird food" ... right...

MORE FOOD! This was a rib plate we got one night while walking the streets of Waikiki.

When in Hawaii, it's mandatory to drink a pineapple smoothie from a pineapple.

I gave in to Mrs Brandon's request and we had a pineapple pizza. I had one slice with pineapples and spent the rest of the meal picking it off the following slices.
