Rob Goes To The Doctor, Decorates For Christmas & Goes To The St. John's Program For Real Change Event - November 2017

My weekend began early Saturday morning with my semi-annual blood draw for lab tests to determine I’m still healthy as an old, tired, lame horse. This was the sign posted in the waiting room

And this was everyone else in the waiting room…

After my veins were drained, it was time to decorate the house for Christmas…yes, people, Christmas! We love the holiday and want to have time to enjoy it so we decorate early. As long as you don’t eye-rape your neighbors, there’s nothing wrong with this so suck Santa’s sleigh

And of course, every year comes with a ponderance of lights, tangles, and what exactly I’m doing with my life

In the end, we did pretty well and got most of the house decorated

Moving left to right in our main room, we begin in the corner with the giant wreath

Above the TV we decorated the shelves, leaving the R&C…which stands for Rob and Christina…DUH

Above the fireplace…chooo chooo…Here comes the Christmas Express! (Lucky Christmas Express)

Rounding out the room, shelves of Joy

Around the corner, a nutcracker, a snowman and some balls…hehehehe…some

Yes, those are giant ornaments hanging from the ceiling throughout the house.

After a day of decorating, we had to get ready for the Saint John’s Program for Real Change Event. They’re an amazing organization that takes women and broken families and doesn’t just feed and shelter them, but gives them new life skills and reunites families.
