Father's Day Weekend At Williams Manor 2017

Father’s Day weekend brought my father, Horace, to the area

We took dad to one of our favorite places, Peg’s in Roseville (I originally fell in love with Peg’s in Reno 20+ years ago)….dad had sausage and eggs, fiancé Christina had chicken fried steak because she’s from Texas and is a walking cliché

Meanwhile, I got Loco Moco, the traditional Hawaiian breakfast of rice, egg, and, in this case, ground beef patty with gravy. On the island locals make it with spam

The rest of the weekend was spent at Williams Manor hiding from the heat and enjoying the home and each other, including some pool (with help from German Shepherd Maestro)

We played 3-way (don’t even think about inserting a “giggity,” sickos…this is my father we’re talking about)…so all three of us played (and I won, of course)

After an amazing steak and grilled corn dinner on Friday night (no pictures because Christina sucks), we had hot dogs for lunch on Saturdayand Christina committed a felony…

REALLY? A KNIFE AND FORK TO EAT A HOT DOG? What are we doing here?

We played 17 games of cribbage during the weekend. It’s an old school card game that we all love so suck it

When all was said and done, I won 10 games, Christina won 5 and dad won 2. HAHA

Saturday night I made a grilled/roasted tenderloin of beef for dinner

Scout, the black Lab, decided he would oversee the carving process
