Rob Goes To Napa With His Girlfriend

For the weekend, my new Girlfriend, Christina, flew out from Dallas where she works and lives and asked me to take her to Napa. What gentleman says no to that request? Not me.

When we drove into Napa Friday afternoon we immediately hit the newly renovated Turnbull Winery, which is one of many dog friendly wineries…and since dogs love me they always gravitate towards me. Or maybe it’s the breadstick.

After realizing she wasn’t getting any breadstick, Gracie the Golden Retriever brought me her bone so we could play fetch

This is Christina’s new phone screen wallpaper because she loved the picture so much.

Ok, now we’re just being silly…or the wine is kicking in already

Last one from Turnbull on Friday

Friday night we had an amazing dinner at Bottega, an Italian Restaurant that served me probably the best beef short rib I’ve ever had (not pictured)

On Saturday we took the cave tour at Del Dotto which is always a fun time and gets anyone tipsy (we Ubered so shutup)

The Cave tour is exactly what it sounds like; you tour the caves where they store their barrels and literally taste wine straight from the barrels as they are aging

This is one of the giant wall murals at Del Dotto (yes Christina took this picture, she’s such a girl)

After an hour of drinking too much wine (if there is such a thing) Del Dotto fills you up with homemade pizza and amazing meat and cheeses

Here we are waiting for our Uber outside of Del Dotto in front of their giant water fountain…you’d be able to see all of that is light wasn’t glaring off of my bald head
