My German Shepherds, Maestro and Nellie were once again recently in the hills between Reno and Sacramento at Dogwoods resort. What the hell is this? Two Nellie’s Am I seeing double?

One of the many great things about Dogwoods is the socialization with other dogs and the daily relay races like this

One thing everyone notices and loves about Maestro is that he is absolutely fearless, including around bigger dogs

Apparently Maestro lost the staring contest and the sore winner gets the tub and sticks his tongue out…jerk.

Take a good look at this picture…Nellie weighs in at 85 pounds. Look at the size of that thing on the left! Is that a hairy Elk?

This is one of the greatest parts of Dogwoods. Not only do they all have big, fenced areas (about an acre each) complete with a sheltered home, every day they all head out with Theresa onto the property and socialize and play
