I spent the weekend in Dallas with my girlfriend, Christina. First thing we did upon my landing was head to Kenny’s BBQ, one of our favorite places (I mean, it’s Texas…by law you have to eat BBQ, right?)

Eventually we made our way home and I got to see her boy, Scout, a big goofy loveable Black Lab (who adores me, BTW)

Sometimes Scout adores me a little too much

But, to be fair, he does make a great pillow

On Saturday we went out to run some errands and do some shopping and saw these glasses and immediately thought of Dawn because God forbid we see anything turquoise and not think of Dawn

Here’s what else we saw…Christmas decorations everywhere

I’m not bothered by Christmas decorations before Halloween because I love Christmas so of course we had to get a picture. If only Santa would have been there

Once we were back home Scout needed to go to the park and play, and since Christina is a girl, she’s no good at throwing so it’s my job

After about 15 minutes of this he was exhausted and my old man shoulder needed ice

And of course we had to order a PIZZA, half delicious, with Italian sausage, mushrooms and olives, the other half gross and disgusting with pineapples which belong nowhere near pizza. No kiss for Christina that night. Yuck
