Dawn Goes To Arizona - Round 3
Round 3 of Christmas vacation photos!! These are from our time in Arizona with our family that lives there enjoy!
We road tripped it to Arizona, on the way we went ahead and stayed the night in Bakersfield, not because the drive was too long but because we had just flown in to Sacramento from Nebraska that night and just wanted to crash! You may not think Bakersfield would have decent Hotels but hey this one wasn’t too bad!

Dawn Goes To Nebraska Round 2
Hey everyone here is Round 2 of my Christmas vacation photos, which is also the 2nd round of photos from our time in Nebraska!!
Our goddaughters family is HUGE! Each year they do a Cousins Christmas exchange there are like 60 cousins. They take turns hosting the gift exchange and this year it was my friend Miste’s turn to host (our goddaughters’ mom) she rented out the Firefighters Reception Hall, they need a big space each year since there are so many of them!!

They always have it the Cousins Christmas exchange catered, holy cow the food was amazing some chicken stuffed dish, beef, potatoes, rolls yummo!!
As everyone arrives they put their gifts in the middle of the room, there is a girl pile and a guy pile, and it’s done white elephant style, where you can steal if you don’t like what you got!

All the guy gifts were either tools, knives, tool boxes or Liquor! The guys stole each other’s gifts more than the girls stole each other’s gifts! The tools and liquor were the reason for that!

After the gift exchange it was time for Kent and Sharon’s 50th Wedding Anniversary party! They are my close friend Miste’s parents, and they are our goddaughters grandparents..this is their wedding photo and Sharon’s wedding dress from back in day 50 years ago!!

We had a connecting flight in Vegas to get us to Nebraska, I stopped to go pee real quick, I’ve been to the Vegas airport like a zillion times and have never taken a photo of the no needles sign in the restroom finally thought I would share that with you! can’t say I’ve seen that in any other airport restroom!!
We stayed in Lincoln, NE but flew into Omaha, they are only like an hour away from each other so no biggie. Once we got our rental car we headed over to California Tacos in Omaha it’s a local small family restaurant.

One of our buddies in Texas said since we were going to be in Omaha we had to try this place out he said there tacos were amazing! Now coming from a guy whose from Texas that’s a huge compliment cause Texas has some pretty freaking great tacos as well!! So we knew we had to check this place out and it didn’t disappoint, yummo!

Also while in Omaha on our way to Lincoln, we thought helloooooo one of the richest men in the world lives here, Warren Buffett and he still lives in the house he bought in the 50’s, it’s been updated a bit since then but still pretty darn modest of a house considering all the money he has!!

Hope you all had a great Christmas!! For our Holiday break my hubby and I spent some time in town as well as in Texas, Nebraska and Arizona.
I will start with some photos from our Nebraska trip. Our oldest Goddaughter goes to college there and that’s where her mom and grandparents live, her mom is like a sister to me have known her half my life and her grandparents are like parents to me and they were gonna be celebrating their 50th Wedding Anniversary so ummm yes of course we would head that way over Christmas to celebrate that with them!!!
Here is round 1 of the Nebraska photos, yes I actually have more than 1 round of photos from Nebraska!! We had a blast!! They are just a great down to earth farming family!
