This update is all about our friends at Griffin & Reed Eye Care, where I had my lasik surgery 17 years ago, Amanda had hers last year and now, this week, my fiancé Christina had hers!

In the end, the amazing Dr Reed (the meat in our love sandwich here) did his usual amazing job

First things first…we, of course, video taped the entire process

The day before the procedure, Producer Nick held a meeting to prep us for the taping and brought this lovely piece of artwork to display how things would go

This is my favorite part of Nick’s drawing…Christina, drawn to scale, uttering her favorite expression

Showtime…Christina is in the surgery room along with Nick and Producer Kristen manning the cameras while we watch from outside

Back to the surgery…there’s Christina’s eyeball being worked on

Less than 20 minutes later, Christina’s out of surgery and you can see the relief

And now her attitude is kicking back in…

Brandon, meanwhile, is completely bored by this entire process

About 30 minutes after the procedure, clearly the drugs are kicking in…
