Rob Does Dallas - May 2016
This past weekend I went to Dallas to visit my girlfriend Christina (and her dog Scout)
Being the gentleman that I am, I flew in on Friday and immediately cooked her dinner, Chicken penne pasta. To which she said, and I swear this is true, “OMG this is so good. It reminds me of a frozen TV dinner I had once.” Music to every chef’s ears
This is my newest best buddy Scout, the black lab. He’s 18 months old and still very much a puppy
Like with most dogs, it didn’t take long for Scout to fall in love with me
Part of the weekend was spent helping Christina train Scout including focusing his puppy energy. When he got too wound up, I’d put him on his side into a submissive position
And he didn’t seem to mind it much, I must say
We did take a picture for our RAD Drinking with the Maggots collage…this was the blooper picture
For the most part, we spent the better part of the weekend inside (Elllloooooo), but on Saturday night we actually got dressed to head out to dinner
And look who followed me all the way to Dallas…Dawn and her husband Gary.
Here is how each morning started for me…Scout would leap on the bed and give me the Dino treatment (Google it…look up “Flintstones.”)
Scout wanted to come home with me by the time the weekend was over.
